- Objectifs :
- The main objective of the Powertrain Engineering program is to train young engineers
to be immediately operational in the international automotive industry. In particular, the
program focuses on the analysis, development, control and integration of the automotive
powertrain as well as the fuels and lubricants necessary for their operation. During this
time, the students acquire the technical, methodological, cultural and interpersonal skills
necessary for such a demanding and dynamic sector. Upon graduation, the engineers are
sought after by a broad variety of companies including vehicle manufacturers, engine
and transmission manufacturers, global components suppliers, engineering consultancies
and research and development centers.
Upon completion of this program, participants are able to:
be rapidly operational in any part of the automotive powertrain industry, and capable
of quickly adapting to the engineering techniques and methodologies specific
to their company;
integrate smoothly into the international automotive industry as a result of both
their technical knowledge and experience gained during the program as well
as the communication, intercultural and team skills they have developed.
- This program is divided into 13 courses to enable students to acquire all of the basic
and practical knowledge they need to work in the various domains of powertrain
development and integration (in a structured manner).
